O aniversário de São Paulo está chegando e como gostamos de fazer prestaremos nossa homenagem numa dinâmica e divertida roda de sambas, poemas, diálogos de radionovelas e curiosidades sobre nossa cidade. Dani Mattos e Toque de Bambas vão se apresentar no “Al Janiah”, que fica ali na Bela Vista. É fácil encontrar, fica na Rua Rui Barbosa e tem um ônibus, desses escolares antigos, parado bem na porta. Dentro funciona uma biblioteca.
Muito mais que uma casa de shows o “Al Janiah” é um espaço político e cultural, com um bar e restaurante de culinária árabe onde arte, cultura, música e cinema se expressam criticamente por meio de eventos, cursos, peças teatrais, lançamentos de livros, exibições de filmes e exposições fotográficas. Tudo isso envolto pelos deliciosos sabores e aromas das bebidas e comidas da casa.
Foi este lugar que escolhemos para lançar nosso Ep que leva o mesmo nome do show: Cronistas da Cidade. Você paulistano (basta viver aqui, não precisa ter nascido aqui!), que ama esta cidade, venha comemorar esta data conosco!
* São Paulo sempre foi cheia de sotaques diferentes. Vem daí o termo cunhado por Adoniran, Vanzolini, Germano Mathias e outros artistas que foram, em prosa, verso, melodias e muito samba, grandes Cronistas da Cidade.
